You will act as the technical and strategic lead for Marketo migration initiatives — partnering closely with marketing operations, CRM teams, data engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable solutions that support client business goals and long-term platform success.

Key Responsibilities

Migration Strategy & Execution

  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of Marketo migration initiatives from one or more legacy marketing automation platforms into Marketo Engage
  • Define and manage migration approach, priorities, dependencies, and timelines
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and governance throughout migration processes

Platform Architecture & Configuration

  • Architect scalable Marketo solutions that support segmentation, lead lifecycle, scoring, and personalized engagement
  • Configure Marketo workspaces, custom objects, program templates, and modular campaign frameworks
  • Establish and enforce platform governance standards including naming conventions, folder structures, and best practices

Integration & Data Flow Management

  • Lead integration planning and testing between Marketo, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other critical data sources
  • Ensure accurate lead/contact synchronization and end-to-end campaign attribution across systems
  • Oversee API-based data migrations and complex data mapping scenarios

Campaign Framework & Journey Enablement

  • Translate business requirements into reusable and scalable marketing automation frameworks
  • Rebuild key campaign programs, nurture paths, and engagement streams in Marketo
  • Provide guidance on advanced personalization strategies and dynamic content usage

Quality & Validation

  • Build and execute comprehensive QA plans that validate migration outputs, integrations, and reporting parity
  • Identify and remediate gaps between source and target platform behaviors
  • Provide training and enablement to stakeholder groups on new Marketo capabilities and best practices

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between business stakeholders, marketing operations, engineering teams, and external partners
  • Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly and proactively
  • Mentor and support internal team members through migration execution and platform adoption

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • 12+ years of experience in digital product delivery, marketing automation, or software implementation
  • 5+ years of experience leading Marketo migrations or enterprise-scale marketing automation initiatives
  • Deep expertise in Marketo platform architecture, administration, and best practices
  • Strong understanding of data governance, lead lifecycle management, segmentation, scoring, and analytics
  • Proven experience with CRM integrations, especially Marketo–Salesforce or similar systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Please note this is an ONSITE position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Marketo Certification (e.g., Marketo Certified Expert or Solutions Architect)
  • Experience designing scalable data and campaign architectures
  • Familiarity with advanced personalization strategies, dynamic content, and engagement scoring
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem integrations
  • Agile delivery experience and familiarity with task management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps

What Success Looks Like

  • Smooth, low-risk migrations with minimal disruption to business operations
  • High-quality, scalable Marketo platform configurations that support segmentation, scoring, automation, and personalization
