Position Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic consulting leader to join our team.  The Director of Solution Consulting should have experience with Adobe Experience Cloud or similar digital experience platforms.  This strategic role demands a balance of technical know-how, business acumen, and operational diligence, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and inspire a team.  The role involves individual contributor and team management responsibilities. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage on front-lines in pre-sales solution consulting, leveraging competencies such as marketing, business development, experience, commerce, and data strategy, as well as platform architecture. 
  • Create or contribute to solution design strategies, plans, and deliverables.
  • Create or contribute to service productization and go-to-market strategy.
  • Define and support strategic customer billable or investment engagements.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership through content creation, speaking opportunities, and other channels.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and communicate effectively with customers to gain buy-in.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to devise optimal solutions.
  • Balance business and technology perspectives, tying technical solutions to business objectives.
  • Serve as a thought leader and advise on technical solutions.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment and mentor team members.
  • Multitask and prioritize across various initiatives; manage resources and capacity planning.
  • Lead and delegate responsibilities and assignments within a consulting team.
  • Advise internal staff on general solutions to customer problems; serve as thought leader for specific domain(s).
  • Review, provide feedback, and approve consultants' work submissions.
  • Report on team and individual activity/opportunity status
  • Organize team training and development.
  • Participate in interviews and contribute to performance reviews.
  • Provide senior solution consulting oversight for key accounts.
  • Contribute to developing departmental resources like SOPs and templates.

Qualifications:

  • 6 - 10 years of experience in digital experience solution sales, solution design, and/or implementation.
  • Deep understanding of the digital and customer experience landscape, including commerce, experience, and insights domains.
  • Balance of business and technology acumen, including the ability to articulate high-level technical solutions to business problems and to tie your solutions to program success criteria.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills including customer-facing communication and presentation; experience presenting to and achieving buy-in from customers in a sales-related motion.
  • Experience working in enterprise professional services, for a consultancy, agency, or systems integrator.
  • Proven experience with Adobe Experience Cloud or similar platforms.
  • Desire to help build and strengthen a team-oriented environment and to mentor and guide others in areas of your expertise both formally, as part of engagements, and informally.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
  • Adobe certifications preferred.
