Digital Solutions Consultant (Adobe Commerce / Business Analyst)
Position Overview
Blue Acorn iCi is seeking a Digital Solutions Consultant (DSC) with strong Adobe Commerce (Magento) experience and a solid background in business analysis and functional consulting.
This role will act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that ecommerce requirements are clearly defined, documented, and translated into scalable Adobe Commerce solutions.
This position requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who can support end-to-end ecommerce implementations, from discovery through delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for Adobe Commerce initiatives
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of ecommerce features and integrations
- Support end-to-end Adobe Commerce (Magento) implementations, including catalog, checkout, promotions, and payment workflows
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder alignment across business and technical teams
- Ensure data, integrations, and platform configurations align with business requirements and best practices
- Identify gaps, risks, and optimization opportunities across ecommerce experiences
- Act as a liaison between product, business, and development teams to drive successful delivery
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience working with Adobe Commerce (Magento) — required
- Experience in a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or DSC role within ecommerce environments
- Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience writing:
- User stories
- Functional documentation
- Acceptance criteria
- Solid understanding of ecommerce workflows (catalog, cart, checkout, promotions, payments)
- Experience working in cross-functional teams (business, product, engineering)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud tools (AEM, AEP, etc.)
- Familiarity with system integrations (ERP, CRM, payment gateways)
- Experience in agile delivery environments
