AEM Product Lead / Digital Experience Lead (Remote/Hybrid, Dallas)
Position Overview
Blue Acorn iCi is seeking an AEM Product Lead / Digital Experience Lead to connect a B2B MarTech transformation to the AEM and web experience layer. This role owns web experience architecture, delivery standards, and data-collection readiness on Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS), ensuring measurement, personalization, and journey orchestration are effectively delivered across web properties.
Location: Remote / Hybrid – Dallas preferred
Key Responsibilities
Web Experience Strategy & Architecture
- Own the web experience roadmap and delivery sequencing, aligned to the migration plan and the program’s 6-month roadmap.
- Design and architect Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) solutions supporting enterprise-scale digital experiences.
- Define requirements, governance, and architecture standards for web experience platforms.
- Define web experience KPIs and the instrumentation required to measure them, in partnership with the Analytics product lead who owns KPI baselines and reporting.
- Contribute to long-term platform vision extending into 2027 and beyond.
AEM, Document Authoring & Edge Delivery Services
- Oversee Document Authoring (da.live) adoption and authoring workflow design across web properties.
- Drive Edge Delivery Services (EDS) implementation to improve publishing speed and page performance.
- Ensure web properties meet performance (Core Web Vitals) and accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) standards.
Data Collection & Adobe Integration
- Implement and manage Adobe Web SDK and Adobe Tags for data collection, consent enforcement, and event tracking.
- Collaborate with Data, Analytics, Journey (AJO), and CDP product leads to ensure cohesive experience delivery.
- Stand up Web SDK and Tags instrumentation requirements with the Data and Analytics product leads.
Migration, Delivery & Enablement
- Partner with the migration team to execute implementation at scale.
- Drive adoption and capability enablement across Studio teams.
- Work alongside a Center of Excellence providing strategy, governance, and architecture oversight.
- Partner with the Migration Support team for implementation and scaling.
- Support line-of-business web requirements as they come into scope.
- Document the current-state AEM and web estate in scope, including publishing model, integrations, and known technical debt.
- Define the target-state web experience architecture and governance standards the implementation team will build against.
- Deliver a sequenced web workstream plan tied to migration milestones through cutover.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years in digital experience or web platform delivery, including 5+ years hands-on with Adobe Experience Manager in enterprise environments and demonstrated AEMaaCS experience.
- Proficiency with Adobe Web SDK and Adobe Tags for data collection, consent management, and event tracking.
- Experience integrating web platforms with Real-Time CDP, Adobe Analytics / CJA, and Adobe Journey Optimizer.
- Proven ability to lead technical strategy and guide cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of enterprise migration programs, phased cutover, and BAU protection during transition.
- Experience with L3/L4 architectural design and enterprise governance frameworks.
- Prior consulting or client-facing delivery experience with Fortune 500 or large enterprise clients.
- Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service – authoring, publishing, components, templates, and Cloud Manager pipelines.
- Document Authoring (da.live) authoring workflows and AEM Assets.
- Edge Delivery Services (EDS) and block-based front-end architecture.
- Adobe Web SDK, Adobe Tags, and datastream configuration.
- Adobe Analytics / CJA, Real-Time CDP, and Adobe Journey Optimizer integration.
- Front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS architecture.
- API integration, headless and SPA delivery patterns, and Adobe App Builder.
- Performance (Core Web Vitals), accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), and scalability best practices.
Preferred Qualifications/Education
- Hands-on experience with Document Authoring (da.live).
- Experience implementing or migrating a site onto Edge Delivery Services.
- Adobe Certified Expert – AEM Sites Architect or Developer.
- Consent management platform integration (OneTrust or equivalent) with Adobe Web SDK.
- Telecom, financial services, or other regulated-industry experience.
- Experience supporting a multi-brand or multi-line-of-business web estate.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $150,000–$180,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
