Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS) Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Adobe’s Edge Delivery Services and other headless content delivery solutions. As an EDS Architect, you will design and implement scalable, reusable content delivery pipelines that deliver high-performance digital experiences across platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives, providing leadership in performance optimization, site reliability, and compliance.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS) for content delivery.
  • Develop reusable components, content fragments, and other modular assets for headless content delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, UX/UI designers, and developers to ensure seamless integration of EDS into digital experiences, aligning with brand standards and functional requirements.
  • Architect scalable, high-performing solutions to ensure optimal content delivery across devices and platforms.
  • Optimize content delivery pipelines using caching strategies, CDN configuration, and other performance-enhancing techniques.
  • Ensure SEO optimization, ADA compliance, and responsiveness are maintained across all delivered content.
  • Guide and mentor development teams on best practices for EDS implementation, architecture, and performance.
  • Manage technical challenges and troubleshoot issues related to content delivery workflows and integrations.
  • Stay current with industry trends, particularly in headless CMS, content delivery networks (CDNs), and cloud-based solutions.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work EST hours
  • Strong Expertise in Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS).
  • 5+ years of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience designing and implementing reusable components and headless content delivery systems.
  • Deep understanding of web optimization techniques, including CDN setup, caching, and performance tuning.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, ADA compliance, and responsive design best practices.
  • Familiarity with API-driven development and third-party integrations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to address complex technical challenges.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.


Preferred Skills

  • Adobe Certified Expert in Edge Delivery Services or similar certification.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), digital asset management (DAM), or other related technologies.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Workfront.


 

The US average base salary range for this full-time contract position is $120,000 - $170,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, but they are subject to change based on the following factors: role, experience level, education/certification, job-related skills, and working location. Please note that some states within the US have pay/hiring laws that may affect the salary range listed above.
