Position Overview:
Blue Acorn iCi is seeking a motivated and curious Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team.
In this role, you will identify, qualify, and cultivate new business opportunities, working closely with marketing, partnerships, and sales leaders. As a key contributor to our growth, you’ll focus on generating leads, pipeline, building relationships, and supporting digital transformation efforts for clients. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, where your insights and outreach will directly drive sales success.
Responsibilities:
● Research & Market Intelligence: Analyze target accounts, key stakeholders, and competitive landscape to identify and qualify prospects. Monitor industry trends to tailor outreach and positioning.
● Collaborate with Marketing & Partnerships: Work closely with marketing, partnerships, and sales enablement to identify new leads and opportunities. Help build and deploy targeted campaigns (email, social, events) to engage prospects effectively.
● Optimize Outreach & Track Performance: Use sales tools and CRM to optimize outreach strategies and improve lead conversion rates. Track, measure, and report on KPIs like meetings booked and opportunities created.
● Opportunity Coordination: Set up meetings, follow up and coordinate between Adobe and Infosys Client Partners to uncover and qualify opportunities. Partner with the Vertical Sales Lead, Account Director, and delivery teams to develop proposals and ensure alignment between client needs and services. Supports in writing contracts and proposals.
● Manage CRM & Sales Process: Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and provide ongoing updates to pipeline opportunities. Support in drafting proposals and contracts.
● Support ABM & Event Planning: Help identify key prospects for account-based marketing campaigns and assist with event planning to engage target clients.
● Measurement / Success Criteria:
○ Pipeline generation
○ Lead conversion rates
○ Volume of outbound activities
○ Data accuracy in CRM
○ Opportunities contributed to that closed/won (revenue generated from BDR-influenced deals)
Qualifications
● Bachelor's Degree
● 2-3 years work experience in related field, preferably in technology professional services
● Ability to learn and adapt to new strategies and technologies
● Motivated to succeed in a fast-paced, team environment
● Intellectually curious with desire to continuously learn new things
● Coachable, driven, and hard-working
● Strong interpersonal skills with experience working across teams (sales, marketing, delivery)
● Familiarity with Salesforce.com or other CRM tools is a plus
The US average salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 - $125,000 OTE. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, but they are subject to change based on the following factors: role, experience level, education/certification, job-related skills, and working location. Please note that some states within the US have pay/hiring laws that may affect the salary range listed above.
