AEM Technical Lead (React) - Onsite Dallas

Description
We are looking for a Senior AEM Technical Lead with strong React experience to support large-scale digital experience implementations within the Adobe ecosystem.
This role will focus on building and leading modern front-end architectures within AEM, leveraging React-based approaches (SPA / headless) and ensuring scalable, high-performance solutions.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-level AEM solutions, contributing to architecture decisions, development standards, and overall technical direction.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and development of AEM solutions with React (SPA / headless architectures)
- Build and maintain custom AEM components, templates, and front-end integrations
- Define and enforce best practices for AEM + React development
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Perform code reviews and provide technical mentorship
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend, data, and marketing technology teams
- Ensure performance optimization and front-end best practices (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse)
- Support CI/CD processes and deployment workflows
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience as an AEM Technical Lead or Senior AEM Developer
- Hands-on experience with:
- AEM 6.5+
- React (SPA Editor / Headless AEM)
- Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR
- Strong proficiency in:
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- HTML, CSS
- REST APIs
- Experience building reusable components and scalable architectures in AEM
- Ability to lead technical direction and work in Agile environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) or Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)
- Familiarity with Marketo or marketing automation platforms
- Experience with performance optimization tools (Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Docker)
