Description

We are looking for a Senior AEM Technical Lead with strong React experience to support large-scale digital experience implementations within the Adobe ecosystem.

This role will focus on building and leading modern front-end architectures within AEM, leveraging React-based approaches (SPA / headless) and ensuring scalable, high-performance solutions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-level AEM solutions, contributing to architecture decisions, development standards, and overall technical direction.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the design and development of AEM solutions with React (SPA / headless architectures)
  • Build and maintain custom AEM components, templates, and front-end integrations
  • Define and enforce best practices for AEM + React development
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Perform code reviews and provide technical mentorship
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend, data, and marketing technology teams
  • Ensure performance optimization and front-end best practices (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse)
  • Support CI/CD processes and deployment workflows

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience as an AEM Technical Lead or Senior AEM Developer
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • AEM 6.5+
    • React (SPA Editor / Headless AEM)
    • Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR
  • Strong proficiency in:
    • JavaScript / TypeScript
    • HTML, CSS
    • REST APIs
  • Experience building reusable components and scalable architectures in AEM
  • Ability to lead technical direction and work in Agile environments

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) or Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)
  • Familiarity with Marketo or marketing automation platforms
  • Experience with performance optimization tools (Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Docker)
