AEM Content Author (Chicago/Milwaukee)
We are seeking a skilled Content Author with hands-on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) experience to join our team. As an AEM Content Author, you play a critical role in creating and managing content within the AEM platform. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including marketing teams, designers, and developers, to ensure the delivery of high-quality and engaging content across digital channels. This role requires excellent attention to detail and technical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and publish content within the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Utilize AEM tools and features to author, manage, and update web pages, landing pages, digital assets, and multimedia content.
- Leverage AEM functionality such as components, templates, and workflows to streamline content creation and publishing processes.
- Work closely with marketing teams, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand content requirements and ensure alignment with overall digital strategies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on content development and address any concerns or challenges.
- Support content migration activities as assigned, supporting larger website development and migration projects
- Provide training and author support to client authors and administrators
- Perform quality control checks on authored content
Qualifications
- Proven experience (at least 2 years) as an AEM Content Author or similar role.
- Proficiency in using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.5 or Cloud preferred) and its authoring tools.
- Strong understanding of web content management systems, HTML, CSS
- Familiarity with web accessibility standards (ADA), and responsive design principles.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools, such as Jira.
