Position Summary:
Blue Acorn iCi is seeking an Adobe Data Engineer who has a strong background in MarTech, CDP, and Data Warehousing to join our delivery team. This position will be a hybrid role, so the ideal candidate will be able to work onsite 2-3 days per week in the Dallas/Plano, TX area. This role requires a strong technical background combined with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, scalability, and timeliness of data solutions.

Responsibilities  
  • Supporting the client teams to delivery of successful implementations using necessary planning and delivery framework.  
  • Presenting recommendations to project teams professionally, distilling highly technical concepts into stakeholder appropriate terms. 
  • Ensuring the accuracy & timeliness of all deliverables as per expectation. 
  • Gathering and reviewing requirements, providing necessary feedback and thought leadership to help shape the delivery of robust and scalable solutions. 
  • Supporting client engagements and internal teams from a data and technical perspective. 
 
Job Requirements: 
  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3-5 years focused on MarTech, CDP, and data warehousing
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3-5 years focused on MarTech, CDP, and data warehousing
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. Or equivalent work experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud data platform, including data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration. 
  • Strong background in building and maintaining data warehouse solutions including Snowflake. 
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages for data processing and automation. 
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools, data pipeline development, and Apache Airflow workflow management. 
  • Proficiency in real-time data processing (Spark Streaming, Flink, Kafka Streams). 
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses Snowflake and data lakes (Delta Lake, Iceberg)  
  • Familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) and key-value stores (Redis, DynamoDB) is highly desirable. 
  • Experience with batch & streaming pipelines (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub). 
  • Experience with Azure cloud platforms, Azure Event Hubs and their integration with Snowflake. 
  • Understanding of marketing technologies, customer data platforms, and data integration challenges. 
  • Knowledge of data quality, data governance, and security practices in data engineering. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize data processes for performance and scalability. 
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with data architects, analysts, and marketing teams. 
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Cloud and Big Data) are a plus. 
  • Experience with data cataloging, lineage tracking, and metadata management best practices. 
  • Service Integrations, API Development & Automation Design and build APIs and microservices for seamless integration across platforms and third-party services 
  • Data Governance & Compliance Develop and enforce data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance, including working with compliance teams to align to industry standards and regulatory requirements. 
  • Design and configure data schemas in AEP using the Experience Data Model (XDM). 
  • Configure and manage identity namespaces to create linked identity graphs for personalized, cross-channel experiences. 
  • Source Connectors: Configure and manage source connectors for data ingestion from external systems such as cloud storage, databases, and Adobe applications.
